I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at MORSE Corp (Cambridge, MA) in Sep 2024
Interview
I went through a few rounds, first a recruiter screen, a technical screen, and a panel interview with a few SWEs and Chief Engineers. I was initially intimidated by the panel interview but it was a great and productive experience overall.
I applied online. I interviewed at MORSE Corp (Boston, MA) in Jan 2026
Interview
Quick intro call with recruiter, then followed by an peer-to-peer interview. It is not the conventional LeetCode DS&A (which I actually prefer over because now I have to guess what they want), a quick coding problem and then followed by a what I would call "System Design" but instead of mapping data flows between different systems, I ended up being asked for a UML for a program of the interviewer's mind...
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why was I looking to change job? Represent a board game of their mind in UML and talk to them why it is the way it is.
Intro screen to ask about experience and capabilities and then a technical interview. Done in python. One simple coding problem in python and followed by a data architecture design problem.
