MKS Instruments GL Accountant interview questions

I had applied online for an Accounting position with the company. A few days later, an HR rep reached out for a phone screen. We scheduled the call for 10:00am the next day. The next day at 9:55am, I received an email from the same rep cancelling the call because the position had been filled. This shows such lack of organization and focus from the company. How can you be conducting phone screens when you were finalizing an offer with another candidate? So strange... Glad they didn't get to waste my time any longer.
