Applied through a recruitment firm,
1st Stage: Phone Interview, HR consultant wanted to gauge what my motivations for joining the firm were, career goals and overall cultural fit within the firm
2nd Stage: Assessment day at the main office consisting of;
1) Delivering a 10 minute pre prepared presentation to senior practice members followed by Q&A for 15 mins followed by another 30 minutes of skills and competency based questions.
2) Delivering a 5 minute presentation on a case study with 30 mins prior to prepare and create on a power point deck to assist. Post the presentation and Q&Q lasting another 15 mins further interview questions lasting 45 mins focusing on experience, achievement, motivations and goals.
3) 30 minute Partner interview, quite informal, very informative and welcoming.
Whole experience was very positive albeit very intense (3.5 hours from start to finish) interviewing came across very well, painted a very good picture of the company and came across as honest and approachable.
