I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at MBI (Chessington, England) in Jan 2025
Interview
Recruiter reached out to me, initial phone call with recruiter, followed by virtual call with member of team (same position as the vacancy) with some basic competency questions, followed by in-person interview with what would have been the line manager and the director. In-person interview was in 2 parts - first part involved an aptitude test with some basic maths questions and some case studies, followed by two seperate sessions with the line manager and director. Was told by the recruiter that they loved me and wanted to extend me an offer, lots of back and forth with the executives in the US so couldn't formally extend, and then ended up hiring a more experienced candidate who one of the executives nominated and told them they had to interview at the last minute. Nice team but was very drawn out waiting for a decision, and was disappointing as I had been told they were going to offer me the job before referred candidate 'swooped' in.

Question 1
What would your process be for X new challenge in our business? (e.g. launching a new product).
Pretty good and straight forward. Nice environment with good culture and well behaved hiring manager. Asking few technical questions related to the position and had several one n one interviews with few team members.
The job did not require relevant experience in Product Management. After I submit my CV and cover letter, I never heard back from the company. Therefore, I didn't get a chance to interview.
