I applied through other source. I interviewed at MAQ Consulting (Redmond, WA)
Interview
Initial phone interview went ok, then they tell you to send in your college transcript. I guess if you're not of a certain GPA they just toss your resume in the bin. Never heard back. Seems like a shoddy contracting firm with no growth or value in anything or anyone. Not worth it. If you advertise for a junior developer role, look for aptitude and what's on their resume.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at MAQ Consulting (Seattle, WA)
Interview
The interview process with MAQ was an incredibly frustrating drawn-out process with little to no communication from the recruiter. Most of the recruiters are in India and the time difference makes it impossible to get ahold of anyone. I submitted my resume for the job, MAQ set up a phone call with the client the next day, and the week after that I went in for an in-person interview. MAQ neglected to tell me that my in-person interview was 2 hours long with 4 different team members, so I was totally unprepared. I sent several follow-up emails to MAQ about whether or not I'd been selected and essentially never heard from them again. Totally unprofessional and downright rude.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at MAQ Consulting (Seattle, WA) in Sep 2015
Interview
I applied on the website and I received a call the next day. I had a phone interview with them first which was about 13 minutes long. They asked me more basic questions about my experience and my technical skills. The questions were average not really that challenging. I did get an in-person interview for the position and it went really well. The questions in that interview were average but there were also questions that were tricky and required critical thinking. A few days later I was called with an offer.
