I interviewed at M3 and Associates

      Interview

The first part of the interview felt more like a conversation where we were getting to know each other rather than an interview. Mark and Marilue were very friendly and easy to talk with. They did not ask any of the typical "what's your biggest weakness?" interview questions. It seemed that their main goal was to assess the interviewees motivation, goals and knowledge. There were tests in Excel at the end of the interview. The first was a 10-key test to see how quickly and accurately you could enter data. The second part was a bank reconciliation and journal entries.

      Question 1

The most difficult/unexpected part was the skills assessment in Excel. It wasn't that it was terribly hard, it was just nerve racking to have a time limit. Plus, I'm used to reconciling bank account in QuickBooks, not Excel, so the different format made it more stressful.
