I interviewed at Lucky Group Consulting (Troy, MI) in Feb 2017
Interview
Went to Tim Horton's for an hour for the first round of interviews and went back to the office to speak to one of the managers for about 15 minutes. I'm not really sure why the last 'round' of the interview felt so rushed. When inquiring later about negative reviews of the position, the response was not positive.

Two words: False advertising. Like other reviewers have mentioned, it doesn't matter what position you apply for, they want you to either sell cable or train people to sell cable. In my experience, it was the latter. Except that wasn't what I was applying for. I thought I would be leading the marketing strategy for the brand, since they clearly need it (their website lacks any real content explaining what they actually DO, and from a branding perspective that's a problem to say the least. It's also a huge red flag, which I chose to ignore). Anyway, when I walk into the office there's about 10 or 15 young women in their early to mid-20's - these are the interviewees. The interviewers are all 25 year old frat boys in suits. The whole thing was fishy right off the bat, but again, I was idealistic (stupid?) enough to think that since they very clearly needed someone to help them rebrand, maybe I was there for an actual interview for the position to which I applied. Only after giving me some vague spiel about what the company does, I managed relentless questioning to drag out of my interviewer that they "want someone to manage an office just like this." "It took me only 4 months to get to become a manager!" he said proudly. That's great, dude, but this isn't the position I applied for.

Question 1
"This is a quick fluff interview just to see if we'd be a good match." Are we on a date? "So you do B2C and B2B, huh? How's that working out for you?" Um, do you even know what that means? "Which job did you apply for?" ARE YOU SERIOUS?

Total scam. The job is really a glorified sales position. The manager also hit on me and then called me from his personal cell after appropriate business hours. a a a a a a a
