I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Louis Dreyfus Company
Interview
There is a prescreen, then an interview with a jr trader and another dept and then if those 2 people both say yes you move on there is a 3rd round interview with an exec. It was very unprofessional and disappointing. The HR person sent me another candidates information making me think I had an interview when I didn't, was not good at responding to emails. It also took over 3 weeks to set up the initial interview and the HR rep continuously proposed the one time I was not available due to class. The HR person also arranged for me to have an interview and then didn't sent me a link and when I tried to contact them for the link I didn't hear back until way after the interview time was set in which they rescheduled and I was disappointed in the professionalism of the interviewer.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What is basis? (also was asked to define other related words and small problems)
Entirely behavioral with a mock scenario simulation at the end - first three rounds are entirely resume-based and the last round is essentially a common sense approach on how markets work

I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Louis Dreyfus Company (Wilton, CT) in Jul 2025
Interview
Very chill, behavioral, focused very little on trading, wanted to get to know you, asked questions about personality, were testing if you have what it takes mentally to work in trading.
