I applied online. I interviewed at Los Alamos National Laboratory (Los Alamos, NM) in Oct 2025
Interview
Applied Sep 17th online.
Interview scheduled oct 1st,
Told was selected and asked for references Oct 17th
BGV completed Oct 28th
Nov 13th was told no budget so can't hire me
Don't get your hopes high with this company
Their system is flawed and budget is political
Ask to see if you can wait to provide references until you get a written offer so they don't waste your time and your references time!

Question 1
Why are you looking to quit your current job and join LANL?
Only did the first round. Interview was conducted via Zoom. It was a panel interview, with ~5 interviewers all sitting in a conference room. Multiple teams were represented, and asked typical engineering interview questions mostly about the resume. I received an offer for a second round of interviews but declined.
