After the initial screening, I first presented what I have done in m PhD and the Q&A section, which took one hour. Then, there was another one hour C++, Python, and general CS skills interview.

Simple interview. You don't need to write simple code. Just answer basic questions. You have to have just basic C++ and python + EM background. They don't care too much about how ell you understand coding just submit the resume.
