I applied online. I interviewed at London Computer Systems (Mason, OH)
Interview
I received a email shortly after I submitted an application online expressing an interest in my resume and asking to set up a phone interview.
The phone interview was fairly straightforward - some probing questions about my background and why I was interested in LCS. After about 15 minutes of conversation I was asked if I'd be willing to come in for an in-person interview.
When I arrived, I started with a short 15 minute assessment while I waited for the interviewer. It had questions on accounting and computers. I wish I'd done a little more prep but I was able to draw on Accounting 101 from college, and my background in computers, and was able to provide an answer for every question. I never got a score back on it, but I assume I did well enough.
The interview itself gave me the opportunity to speak to my past experience and accomplishments while running through my resume. After about an hour, the interviewer had finished with questions, and asked if I'd be willing to speak to a manager of the department about the position. He was a little bit more informal and asked questions about my previous job and history, seemed like a great guy to work for (and I can say now after the fact I was right!). He also asked if I had a few minutes to stick around and talk to the CTO, which I thought was cool. We spoke for a few minutes and I thanked him for taking some time to hang out in my interview.
I got a call back in two hours with an offer.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at London Computer Systems in Jun 2023
Interview
Was referred by a former co-worker. Went through a phone interview a little more than a week after being referred that mainly went over what the position is like and if it might be a good fit. Had a Zoom interview the following Monday which went over my previous experience and more specifics about what working at LCS is like. Did have to take an annoying culture value survey.

I applied online. I interviewed at London Computer Systems in Sep 2020
Interview
Interview went fine. The recruiter was friendly. It was less than 15 mins interview. Recruiter talked about the company like how long there are in the business. The phone call was on time. The recruiter was happy that I did some research on the company.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at London Computer Systems (Cincinnati, OH) in Jun 2019
Interview
Applied online. Got a call from recruiter maybe a month later. Went to the headquarters in Cincinnati for a face to face with 2 people. HR manager and one of the top managers there. Both people were very friendly. The HR manager went into detail about everything on my resume. They're definitely looking for a certain background and are picky. I kind of knew I didn't fit it but I took a shot at it.
One thing I did notice immediately upon walking in is how beautiful the building is. The other thing is that there's really not a lot of diversity there. Being a minority these things are noticeable. Of all the best places to work awards they have...they really need to work on company diversity. I felt very out of place there and even before the HR manager walked in I already knew I wasn't a fit and wouldn't get a offer. This is a major factor for some people when looking for employment.
Overall the experience was positive. But in the end it wasn't a fit and that's fine. The lack of diversity was a bit of a letdown though.
