The interview process was pretty standard with a phone screen with the hiring manager, followed by a technical screen with staff from the managers team. Passing the virtual technical screen I was brought on site for an in person interview.
In the in person interview (for a software position) I was asked many electrical design questions. Questions relating to circuit design, hardware filtering, and how to fix hardware issues without changing artwork. The job description only called out 'Proficient at reading electrical schematics'. I've been in a strictly software role for the last 5 years and did not appreciate being blind sided with electrical design questions.
Be aware, you will be asked technical questions beyond what's in the job description and your fate will be decided by them!
