Interview
I attended a job fair on a Thursday and spoke with one of the Livingston's representatives' and provided my resume. I was contacted the following Wednesday by one of their recruiters located in NY. He said that the representative was "pretty impressed with my resume and wanted to have me come on for an interview". The interview was scheduled for the very next day at 4pm. The recruiter highly advised me to do some research on the company and the specific position I'd applied for before going to the interview. He stated that the pay would be "around" $18/hr. So I did my research which was DEFINITELY the right move, that's the first question asked in the interview!! The interview lasted about an hour and I called the recruiter afterward to let him know how it went. He said that when an interview lasts that long it's usually a good sign. I was called by the same recruiter the next day a Friday and offered the job with pay of $19+/hr. It seems like it's going to be a good experience
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Livingston International (Southfield, MI) in Jun 2015
Interview
Pretty simple and straightforward. I was interviewed by about 6 managers that I found out were all in different departments. I guess they needed people in every department and decided every manager would get a chance to look at the candidates.
Other than that it was a standard interview, no curveball questions or anything like that. Just "where do you see yourself in a few years" and "how do you solve difficult situations" things like that.
