Candidates were taken through multiple rounds over several weeks, only to learn later that the expectations for the position had changed. It appeared the team was not fully aligned on what they were hiring for, resulting in a significant investment of time for candidates without a clear evaluation against a consistent set of requirements. The interviewers were professional, but the overall hiring process could benefit from better planning, clearer role definition, and more transparent communication.
