1st conversation with the recruiter went well, and so did the interview with the hiring manager. 2nd interview was with a director and this was a clear reflection of management style. The interview was canceled 10 minutes before the scheduled time, 3 times, due to "the director is busy and had to attend to something else". If it's once, I understand, but 3 times within 10 - 15 minutes of scheduled timing? I spells "my time is WAY more important than yours". When the interview finally happened I was given abrasive answers when I asked about the team structure to understand this newly-created role better. The answers were passive-aggressive responses like "if you're good show me your results and we can talk about team support". After the conversation, i was "invited" to do a case study which would have easily required 20 hours of work, where they expected me to come up with a full-on GTM + operational strategy for a new business arm, to be completed "over the weekend". I declined to proceed. Says a lot about the company culture or lack thereof - toxic, and complete lack of empathy for any of their hires, even potential ones.
