Interview
I spoke with a recruiter over the phone who said they'd like to invite me in for an interview. I never heard back, so I reached out, and quickly heard back from HR, who told me the recruiter's contract had ended.
I was invited into the very quiet office, where I met with a few people who would be my colleagues, then leadership. The whole interview was around two hours long.
I was told explicitly that because of some upcoming vacation time, I would hear back a little longer than what would be considered normal, but I'd definitely be hearing back within a few weeks. It's now been about eight months of radio silence. I didn't follow up again after the thank-you email.

Question 1
They had read my submitted writing samples and researched me thoroughly. They asked about my experience, and what I'd contribute as a younger member of the team.

Interview
If you enjoy long, endless interviews, Lipman Hearne is here to help! Spend weeks between communications and maybe never heard back? Some of the worst process I have ever encountered in my 15 years of working.

Interview
Everyone that I met with was very nice but the interview process was extremely long. There were 2 phone interviews 3 weeks apart, then an in-person interview 3 weeks after that. At the end of the in-person interview, I was told that I would be contacted by HR, but no communication ever came. When I reached out to HR 6 weeks after my final interview, it was then told that they went with another candidate. After 3 MONTHS of devoting my time to interviews, I at least expected the courtesy of being told I didn't get the position without having to proactively reach out to HR. I was really turned off by the experience.
