      Research Interview

      Sep 10, 2010
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Declined offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Lionsgate in Jul 2010

      Interview

I was first interviewed by phone by an HR Recruiter. It was a straightforward interview with very basic questions about my current role, why I was looking to move, my strengths and weaknesses and my salary requirements. Two weeks later I was contacted for an in person interview. I met with two high level executives including the person I would be reporting to. Basically they talked a bit about the job, what it was like to work at a start up division, the goals of the organization and how I would fit in. It was a very easy going and conversational interview. One executive asked me how I would approach a few different situations but it was very easy and affable. I was offered the job but I declined the offer as they weren't willing to be flexible on office hours.
