Easy going. Very chill. Multiple rounds of the same questions. They will ask how far is your home from the office! Make sure you are close. The job is in midwood Brooklyn. This means only 1 train (Q) is around.
I applied online. I interviewed at Lights.com (Brooklyn, NY) in Sep 2017
Interview
A phone interview. Two one on one interviews. One with the owner and one with the CFO. Pretty straightforward questions. Nothing outrageous. Will have to travel to Midwood Brooklyn. Only train that is near is the Q train.
Very personable, but they changed the interview time last minute. The interview was with (and position reported to) the operations manager, which I thought was odd for a graphic design position. When I asked the interviewer what was their reason for seeking a new designer (I had seen an ad for the same position less than a year before). The interviewer said "She was just crazy" before looking startled and sputtering out that it just didn't work out. That was a huge warning sign.
