Les Plats du Chef interview questions

I applied online and they had a phone interview. The phone interview was quite easy. General questions regarding the position. They invited me one to one. There were 3 people actually, one is the inventory manager, one is HR and one is shipping/receiving coordinator. They asked me general interview questions such as situational and personality questions. They toured me for 2 factories. I spent a very long time in the factories. Coordinator even told me that she hopes I would be hired. After a week I got a call from head office asking me if I am still interested in the position. I said yes and we started to discuss when I can start and when should I resign from my current position. He asked me the fill consent form for the criminal check. I submitted everything and waiting a week. During the time I hadn't received any update from them so I followed up by email. HR told me that they are going to get back to me which they did with the answer no. I have no criminal records or any suspicious thing in my background, however, they didn't offer me the job. The problem is not the job offer, the problem is they made me wait for a week as if they would hire me especially after discussing my resignation time and other details. They said to me they can't support adding a headcount. They should have told me that I was one of the candidates that they would make a decision in between them instead of talking like offering a job. Totally unprofessional.

1) Phone screening interview where they ask basic questions about your status to work, qualification etc. 2) Face to face interview with the HR & Production Manager. 3) Basic written test on the same day, where they ask you to do a simple calculation of production material requirements based on machine speed. 4) Final interview with the site head, where he asks general question.
