      Software Engineer (New Grad) Interview

      Sep 10, 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Layer6 AI in Sep 2024

      Interview

OA, then brief 15-min virtual coffee chat with HM, then onsites. Onsites included LC hards and average-ish difficulty OOP design problems. Probably around FAANG-tier difficulty. Bombed a round which probably cost me my candidacy. No feedback provided when asked but that's par for the course in this industry. Liked the company and the engineers working there. I will say though that I think they have a somewhat inflated view of themselves, with the hiring manager comparing the company to DeepMind.
