1st round screening, 2nd round written, 3rd mostly about resume, then they do a reference check and a 4th final round. I withdrew before the final round because I got another offer I wanted to take, but the process was
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Mostly about why you want to work there and relevant experience, what kind of courses you’d have in mind and who you’d reach out to, pretty basic
I had a zoom interview for a temp to perm role a few months ago. Most of the interviewer's questions were straightforward. But then she asked me to rate myself, on a 1 to 10 scale, based on how all my previous employers would think I did at my job. In other words, what number rating would my last bosses give me? And she had me go down each of the jobs on my resume and rate myself for every one. I thought it was an absurd question. I can't read people's minds; if you want to know how my bosses would rate me, ask them yourself. It's also dehumanizing. I'm a person, not a machine, and definitely not a number. She ended the interview shortly after that question; evidently, I didn't give her the answers she wanted to hear. I don't think the interview lasted more than... 10 minutes? A waste of time, both hers and mine. The interview wasn't with a random recruiter, either, but a higher-up/supervisor in the company who should have known better.

Question 1
The "rate yourself" question. I don't remember the others; they were basic things about my work history, I believe.
Thank you for your feedback. Our intentions are not to dehumanize our interviewees, and we will take action in the future to ensure our candidates do not feel this way.
Lawline starts the process sending out a code challenge. The code challenge was an easy one and took about 3 or 4 hours. They expected the code challenge to be delivered in 24 hours before even considering to speak with me.
For some weird reasons, I did go along with that abusive process and delivered before the 24 hours deadline. I never got an answer back from the HR person who sent me the initial email and also the code challenge was never even evaluated (The person I invited to the repo never accepted the invitation).
In hindsight, never accept a process as the one proposed by lawline. Clearly, you don't want to work for a company that has this attitude towards possible employees.
For this particular position, we informed every recruiter representing each candidate who applied or was recommended to us of that candidate’s status on an ongoing basis. Unfortunately, there may have been instances in which a recruiter did not provide our responses to the candidates.
Lawline sends out code challenges in the beginning of our process to save every candidate time in the long run by not having to prepare for and then participate in a formal interview. We sincerely appreciate the feedback, and will take it into account as we revise and improve our process the next time we have an available developer position.
