I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at LaunchPoint Technologies (Itasca, IL) in Sep 2015
Interview
The interview process consists of an initial phone, then a face to face. It was formal yet everyone was very friendly. They first go into details about the company's history and vision. Then there is a discussion about the position itself. Next is the time that you are allowed to talk about yourself. Some specific questions will be asked about your experience but they truly want to get to know your skills and personality. It's important to not only have the skills but they want to make sure that you fit well into the company's culture.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at LaunchPoint Technologies (Itasca, IL) in Jul 2015
Interview
I had one face to face interview and met with two people, the manager and a Sr team member. The recruiter set the interview up for 3 PM but told the others we were meeting at 1 PM so the initial impression to them was that I was two hours late, which was inaccurate.
A week after the meeting I followed up with the recruiter and asked her where they were in the hiring process. She said she hadn't heard any feedback but if she did she would let me know (as opposed to following up for me per my inquiry).
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at LaunchPoint Technologies (Itasca, IL) in May 2015
Interview
I had to sign in at the reception desk where I was given a visitor sticker to wear. I was taken to a conference room which looked more like someone's living room and I felt like I was in a fishbowl as everyone going by could see us. I was only interviewed by the Paralegal Manager who didn't even have my resume with her or even a pen and paper. This place is more like a production line as they already had 10 paralegals and looking to hire more.
