      I interviewed at Landmark Properties

      Interview

Terrible. First of all, you have to go through several rounds of interviews for pretty crappy pay and mediocre benefits. You also get informed during this process that you'll be doing the job of about 3-5 people. Nice!! I just love when news like that is tied up into a beautiful little bow and snuck up on me. You can also expect interviewers to show up late and not show up at all, resulting in MORE interviews needing to be set up. So professional. There's so much I found out about the position that contradicted what was in the actual job description by asking questions. Thank goodness I asked so many questions because, wow! Had I not asked, I don't think they would have told me anything and I would have been quite surprised in the first few days/weeks on the job. Talk about bait and switch. It was incredible how many things WEREN'T listed in the job description and just how many things were CONTRADICTORY to what was listed in the job description. Did I mention pay was really crappy? They claim that they really care about and value their employees......however, it's very clear once you talk to someone that they don't really care at all because they offer such low pay (I find it hard to believe anyone could live off of) and pretty crappy benefits. It's very clear to me now why they don't demonstrate in their job description just how "competitive" the pay actually is - it's because it will compete with your BILLS and shows just HOW MUCH they really care about their employees. I'm sure their investors would be baffled by how low they pay the people running their properties and would probably be able to make sense of why some of these properties are struggling. Stop wasting people's time and just be honest and transparent upfront about what the job, pay, and benefits truly entail. Don't just say the words..........demonstrate it in the job description. For example, you claim to offer a competitive salary? Then list the number or range. You claim to have competitive PTO? List how much. You claim to offer paid holidays off? How many? Which holidays? You claim to offer work-life balance? List that the person has to work 6 days a week. If you're going to tout it, then please, demonstrate it. This way, if you even receive applications, you'll have candidates that have read and accepted your crappy offerings. No need to waste anyone's time. It's not rocket science, folks. Get it together! And ps - you probably shouldn't put in the job description that there will not be supervisory responsibilities when in fact, the person will be leading not just several individuals......but teams as well. For the same crappy pay. Yikes.

      Question 1

Pretty standard interview questions I suppose.
