It felt relaxed and normal conversation. It was via zoom and the conversation and questions were straight forward. An email was first sent and then an invitation to join zoom.

Typical interview process. Questions involve teaching methodologies, classroom management, and content knowledge. The interviewee should provide samples of accomplishments. He or she should be prepared to have a group interview most often. In addition, having a portfolio would be good during the interview process. Lamar CISD overall I believe is one of the districts to work in. Most, people are friendly and the staff is willing to help.

I met with the department head for the subject I would be teaching. She wanted to hire me, so then we met with the principal, and he asked a few questions. I was then hired within the district.
