This was a one-step interview conducted with the leader of the specific group I was applying to within the laboratory, which operates across three main fields of work. I applied to join the lab as a student, with no prior professional work experience. The interview process was relatively straightforward and informal. Rather than focusing on technical skills or past accomplishments, the conversation primarily centered around my personal interests, motivation, and what I hoped to contribute and learn during my time with the lab.
