The interview process consisted of a single technical round. However, the experience was not up to expectations. The interviewer first asked me for a brief introduction and about the projects I had worked on. After that, instead of focusing on technical skills, he started asking unrelated questions like famous locations in Meerut (my hometown), distances from Meerut to other cities like Odisha, Delhi, Prayagraj, etc., and personal questions like what I liked about my college and how I commute there. Only one technical question was asked throughout the interview. I answered everything — even the city distances with reasonable accuracy — but was still rejected. Later I found out that the interviewer had taken the same kind of interview with other candidates as well and rejected everyone. On the other hand, candidates interviewed by other panels had a much better experience and many were even selected. Overall, my panel's interview felt unstructured and unprofessional, especially for a technical round.
