Applied online, then had a standard telephone interview with company recruiter that was arranged the following week. They asked motivations, general experience and they provided some background on the role and company. Had 3 more interviews with team members and manager. Much more technical and tougher. Interviewers seemed friendly and knowledgeable enough, although quite serious.
