Applied online and received an email from the deputy program manager a week later. We had a phone conversation later to discuss the job details and then scheduled an in person interview, which involved travel. They offered to fly me down but I preferred to drive. They covered my expenses for travel. The entire process took almost 3 months to get an offer which included weekly follow up emails from me.
