I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at LISMA Language School in Jan 2020
Interview
Showed up. Interviewer had not read my resume and knew precious little about my job history. Despite showing her I am presently hired and working part-time as an adjunct for a major university, she repeatedly asked whether or not I was an English teacher. She didn't present the school at all, no tour, no basic overview of how the school works. The only info I got was after I asked questions about the class size, curriculum , student body, etc. The job listing posted 30.00 and hour as an offer, but once I said I wanted this as a salary the interview concluded quickly. Overheard students talking to desk staff, and the morale at the school seems low and I'm guessing there is a very high turnover rate here. I asked about paid prep time--teaching a 4+ hour class requires a bit of prep time, but this question seemed viewed as unreasonable. This school is very clearly a struggling VISA factory.

Interview
I applied online and received an immediate response for an interview within four days. However, when I got there, the person interviewing me didn't even introduce himself. I had to ask who he was -- he then had NO idea what the job ad mentioned about the description, skills, benefits, etc. You'd think if you were hiring, you'd know what the job ad looked like. I was not asked once about my skills, experience, or any other typical job questions. He then rambled and said that this would start as a paid internship and then work itself into a full-time position. There is clearly no communication or organization at this company. It was the worst possible interview I attended and felt the need to write on here.

Interview
There was an interview with two people. One asked me about classroom management and then to explain some grammar. The other asked about my background and experience. Overall it was not stressful. Both people were very nice and the whole thing took less than an hour.
