In the morning all of the candidates (~20) mingled with each other before the proceedings which started with a presentation on L'Oreal and the graduate program. We were put into groups and had to develop a new L'Oreal product based on the information from the presentation and assess its market viability, threats, opportunities, R&D concerns, target market, design.....etc. There were 2 assessors at each groups table and each group then had to present their product to their own assessors in a 2 min speech. There was also an individual task - based off a L'Oreal advertisement - you were given 10 minutes to prepare and then each person had to perform an individual 2 min speech to their assessors.
Those who were successful at the assessment center then proceeded to individual interviews (mostly behavioral type questions). There is a 2nd and final round interview with the manager however I did not make it to this final stage.
