After submitting my application online, I decided to take the extra step of calling the manager directly to express my interest in the position. I thought it would help make a positive impression and show my enthusiasm. Not long after reaching out, I received a call back from the manager, inviting me to come in for an in-person interview. This quick response made me feel encouraged and excited about the opportunity to discuss my qualifications and potentially join their team.
It was alright, nothing really too serious as it's a minimum wage job and there weren't a lot of requirements. I also knew the person who was interviewing me prior (went to school together) so we were more discussing what paths we took after graduation.
