I applied for the role back in September 2021 and the hiring manager reached out to complete a phone interview. The phone interview went really well and at the end, she indicated that she wanted me to move forward with another interview the following week. When I didn't hear anything a week later, I circled back to re-express my interest, and I got a response about being swamped, having a lot going on, etc. but she would like me to meet with her Manager 1:1 to gauge if it could be a good fit. I responded immediately to express my interest and provide my availability, to again, get 0 response. 1 month later, I got the generic "thanks but no thanks" email. As someone who works in HR and understands the amount of pressure people are under, it's a poor excuse and frankly, makes sense why the reputation of KH in the market is "toxic culture." In the future, as a CPG company, my advice is that the Talent Acquisition team realize that their consumers are customers and how you treat people matters in 2021.
