I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kraft Heinz (Northfield, IL) in Jul 2012
Interview
They flew me twice to interview in their Northfield facility near Chicago. Process was great, mostly coordinated through their head hunter agency. Very down to earth, respectful F&A senior people interviewed me (5 total including hiring manager). They seemed to really now their business and what they were looking for in the hiring process, and treated me with respect and answered all my questions thoroughly. The interview process went really well.

Question 1
As is usual now you need to be able to back any assertion you make with real experience examples so be prepared for that.
Round 1 – Initial Screen (HR or Recruiter):
Usually 30–45 minutes.
Focus: your background, experience, career goals, and salary expectations.
Purpose: confirm you meet the basic qualifications and fit the role.
Round 2 – Hiring Manager / Technical Interview:
Usually 45–60 minutes.
Focus: your technical skills, problem-solving ability, and job-specific knowledge.
May include case studies, financial modeling, or scenario-based questions for analyst roles.
Round 3 – Panel or Leadership Interview:
Often onsite or via Teams.
Focus: cultural fit, collaboration, and behavioral questions (“Tell me about a time when…”).
Sometimes includes peers, directors, or VPs.
After the 3rd round, the company typically makes a final decision within 1–2 weeks. If you’re selected, you’ll get a verbal offer followed by a written offer letter.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Kraft Heinz (Chicago, IL) in Aug 2024
Interview
1st round: HR. Very simple. HR was professional and was able to be transaparent with the salary range.
2nd round: Hiring Manager. 30 min call. Mostly behavior. Didn't talked too much about the job.
3rd round: Another team's manager. 30min Mostly talking about what's the position gonna be focusing on. Asked some behavior questions.
4th round: Skip level manager. It was the big boss. Very friendly. Mostly wanted to know more about me instead of asking about my preivous experiences.
Overall was a nice experience with the team. One thing I wish they could spend more on is the work/life experiences on the team. However, I didn't get too much of info from their talk.
