PLEASE READ THROUGH THE END
Fairly involved process, though it progressed very quickly
- applied on-line
- received link to on-line exercise (verbal, logical, numeric testing), not a particularly easy one
- skype interview with HR person (walk through CV, assess culture fit)
- in-person interview with hiring manager, a different HR person (also included a data interpretation exercise - wasn't told by HR person managing the process)
- in-person interview with boss of hiring manager, person to determine cultural fit
In the end I received an offer that I rejected. This is due to company culture (read GlassDoor reviews, seriously).
There is no pride or interest in their brands, their innovation, their comms, it's all about the culture.
The culture is very problematic, but they decided that's "not for everybody", and that magically solves the problem!. This means that they decided they won't do anything to fix the most damaging aspects of the culture. If you don't like it, it's your problem.
The place is under-staffed, under-organized, has quick employee turnover, with leaders making rash decisions. Your success will depend on how visible and liked you are by senior leaders, not by how good you are.
They will hint at all these things. They will make no mention of providing support for you. It feels like a cult, with the COMPANY CULTURE as the all-powerful idol that can't be criticized. You have to wholeheartedly buy into the culture to get a job at KH.
It feels like the recruitment process of a cult. I rejected the offer and i seriously feel like I dodged a bullet.
