Recruiter screen, followed by meeting team members individually, followed by a panel style interview. I was asked illegal interview questions, and overall morale seemed low across leadership. Interviewer was audibly sighing during interview, didn't seem interested in me. Upon receiving an offer, I was ghosted after asking for details about the compensation package.

Interview
The interview process progressed in stages, starting with submitting my application materials. After communicating over email, the company sent me several challenges to get a sense of my background and how I thought. After I submitted my responses, we jumped on a call, and I presented my solutions. I visited the office/lab to meet the team and better understand the company and role.

They provided a dataset of experimental measurements and described the setup and goal of the experiment. It was my task to understand how to discover statistically significant and meaningful information in the data and communicate its implications on the research problem at hand.
