      Terminal Operator Interview

      Aug 14, 2012
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Koch

      Interview

Got job referral from headhunter and applied online. Started off with an interview with HR in headquarters to see if I was a good fit for their culture. Went well, was standard behavioral interview questions. Then moved on to a phone interview with the supervisors from the terminal a few days later. Also had some behavioral questions, but most were about what I like to do outside of work, hobbies, things to get to know me a bit. Then we moved on to an in person interview at the terminal. I had 4 people interview me, all had behavioral questions, but we branched out on a lot of different topics, including some industry things I learned from friends through the years. Received an offer the next evening.

      Question 1

Got asked some technical questions, but not many. Most questions were really common sense or to see what I had done previously.
