      Interview

The interview process involved four rounds. It included a coding test focused on Pandas and a case study that required combining data insights with marketing domain knowledge. Communication is also important. Be prepared well!

I scheduled a phone interview with HR after receiving their email. The interview lasted around 10 minutes. after completing the interview, I received a rejection email other than the next step.

Some simple questions which the HR just simply decided to move forward with the candidate. Experience? Location? Salary expected?

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Known

      Interview

The process was basically: Initial recruiter call, a math/analytical interview, a coding interview, a final interview with the hiring manager. But it was fairly obvious that the recruiter and the hiring manager had no idea what was going on. The information I received from the recruiter was that there would be nothing I'd have to prepare for, but the interview actually ended up being rather detailed. I was asked to explain concepts that I was unprepared/rusty in (it's not every day that I need to explain what a regression is in layman's terms). All in all - the questions weren't supposed to trip you up if you had prep. It was very disheartening and demoralizing to have finished that final interview so ill prepared, especially when every other round went so well. Also, who even asks "where do you see yourself in 5 years" anymore? What a vague, loaded question. I was ghosted soon after the interview ended - they couldn't even respect me enough to send me a rejection email. Glad I didn't get the job cause the tech industry ultimately pays way better.
