Very strange overall. I received a call for an interview within hours of submitting my resume on a Wednesday. We agreed on a date/ time for an interview on Friday. On Thursday morning, I received a phone call/ voicemail confirming our interview for that day, not Friday. This felt especially strange because who calls for confirmation three hours before the interview? I decided to let go of this interview and not respond. I received another voicemail a few hours later asking if I was having trouble finding the place, I had missed the interview time, etc, etc. I hadn't scheduled or missed anything, so I didn't respond. I received ANOTHER voicemail a few hours after that letting me know that the property manager had reviewed his notes and realized the interview was supposed to be Friday and he'd see me then. No calls on Friday, though, so I guess they figured out that I wanted nothing to do with the madness. I don't know if they're manipulative or inept, but it seems like a simple calendar invite or corresponding via e-mail would have greatly diminished the confusion here. I don't want to work anywhere where the interview process is this wild...too many red flags to ignore.
