After securing a referral, I waited about four weeks to receive an email from Klarna. The email stated that I’d receive another email containing a link for a logic test, great.

Question 1
The logic test email came about a week later. I took the logic test and was sure I passed with flying colors. The following Monday, I receive an email. The email says Klarna loves my resume and I’m on to the next stage of their ‘several step’ process. Then, two minutes later, I receive another email. This email states that I failed the logic test and would not be moving on to the next stage. When I inquired that there may have been an issue, the recruiter was short and quick to shoo me away. This is suspicious, unprofessional, and frankly inconsiderate. This is a large corporation. Surely people fail their logic or aptitude test, and receive an automated email saying so. To send me an email saying I move on, then an apology email afterwards, is ridiculous. I cringe now every time I see there many position posts online.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Klarna
Interview
They run various of interviews to determine your level/interest. You get to meet many people and teams. There are three stages you need to pass, skills, bar raiser and the team fit.
Uncommunicative and not very transparent. The test before hand is elitist and unnecessary. I don’t see its value Andy would prefer it to be a requirement post being shortlisted for the role rather than automatically.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Klarna in Jun 2021
Interview
A few weeks after applying was reached out to by HR for an intro phone call followed by a logic test (super easy, no stress). Second round was 1 hour video chat with senior leadership - high level, asked about leadership principles and how they relate to me. Third round was a 1 hour video chat with a hiring manager - more situational case based "what would you do if" "how would you explain this". Fourth round was a more traditional case interview.
Everyone was very straightforward during the interview process, great coordination, and transparent with expectations. Easy to talk to and felt more conversational than interrogational.
