The overall interview process with HR was great. The interview itself was quite long, but it was engaging and well-structured.
However, the logical test was extremely disappointing. Even after spending several days practicing the mock questions, the actual test was easily three times harder and did not reflect the preparation material at all. Expecting candidates to pass 16 out of 18 questions within 15 minutes feels unrealistic.
The abstract nature of the test does not meaningfully assess intelligence, nor does it relate to the majority of roles applicants are applying for. It felt like a poor use of candidates’ time. Unfortunately, it seems the test is still being used because one of the co-founders was involved in developing it, rather than because it adds real value to the hiring process.
