I applied online. I interviewed at Killian Pacific
Interview
Applied online via LinkedIn. They requested written responses to some basic questions, such as "do you have experience of managing portfolio with various property types" or "how do you prioritize". After that, two interviews were conducted, one with the hiring manager and one with the outside consultant. The interview with hiring manager seemed to gone well, but it got weird with outside consultant. I didn't hear back for two weeks after, reached out, then got a response that they decided to move on with different candidate.. but seems like they ended up not hiring anybody for the role. This kind of situation is ridiculously frustrating, especially when they ask written responses for the questions to get to the interview - now in the hindsight, I was wondering if they were just fishing for the best practices in the industry.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Explain your experience of managing portfolio comprised of diverse asset types.
Interviewed with 5 different people, some in the AM department and others outside of the department to see culture and fit. Ended up ghosting me after interviewing with 5 people over 2 months.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Killian Pacific (Portland, OR) in Dec 2020
Interview
Straightforward process meeting virtually (during pandemic) with members of the leadership team. Everyone was a pleasure to speak with and gave the perception of a stable, caring environment. The company suffers from high turnover and I was aware of this going into the process, and I should've dug deeper into the reasons why.

Question 1
I don't remember the specific questions but the conversations were casual and intended to get a feel for cultural fit.
