      Benefits Analyst Interview

      May 22, 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Chicago, IL
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Keyence (Chicago, IL)

      Interview

The process was very beneficial for a college student. The first step consisted of a phone interview with a manager, after that I was flown into Chicago for a test (Excel and HR tasks) and an interview with the manager. The last step was an interview with the CFO. While the interviews went well and the company in general seemed like a good fit, I did not get an offer. I can accept not getting an offer from a hiring process, however I was essentially "ghosted" and did not receive any correspondence from Keyence after the date I was told I would be notified of my status by. This came in stark contrast to the entire interview process where I was in communication with employees multiple times of the week.

      Question 2

Keyence accidentally sent out year-end bonuses that were 20% higher than meant to be due to a computer error, how would you address this? If the response to this incident includes a message to employees, please write a draft of a message you would advise management to send to employees.
