I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Key Food
Interview
Very brief. You filled out a sheet of paper with your information and if you seemed competent and friendly you were hired. The main decision factor when hiring is space and not always the applicant.
I interviewed here years ago and the owner of the store was in the room where I waited, unbeknownst to me. I was nervous and he was pretty much messing with me. I thought I did good on the interview, but I’m sure he told them to not go further with me. The store burned down a while ago, so whatever.
I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Key Food (New York, NY) in Mar 2018
Interview
Very simple and easy process. I applied online, was called in a few days afterward and received an offer on the spot. The hiring manager was helpful, sweet... although I waited a while before being interviewed.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Key Food (Floral Park, NY) in Jan 2017
Interview
I was mostly asked about my availability. They were very nice and it wasn't the traditional interview process. The questions asked were regarding age, work experience, availability, or any experience working with people.
