I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Kenny Ross Automotive Group (Pittsburgh, PA) in Jun 2020
Interview
It was pretty normal. They emailed me asking to come in for an interview. Then they asked me a few questions. It wasn't high pressure. Then they presented the pay salary.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Kenny Ross Automotive Group (North Huntingdon, PA) in Jul 2020
Interview
The interview was pretty simple, but they made me wait 25 minutes in the lobby while the man was on a phone call (red flag #1). They made me fill out an application and another form.
Keep in mind we are interviewing during a pandemic. The man interviewing me asked me to take my mask off "So he could see if I have a pretty smile" which I found to be very creepy (red flag #2). I dismissed it because I needed a job.
The next week when they called to offer me the position, I temporarily accepted while I looked for other options. The woman on the phone asked me to fill out the forms she sent to me in an email. I checked my email, and its the same exact forms they already made me fill out while I waited almost a half hour for my interview. I told her this, and she replied, "Well he didn't give them to me." (red flag #3)
Okay, 3 red flags before my first day. Yeah, I passed real hard on this one. I told them I no longer accepted the employment offer.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Kenny Ross Automotive Group (Zelienople, PA) in Sep 2012
Interview
I applied online and received a call from the sales manager. We setup a time and date to meet. The interview seemed pretty straight forward. I presented my resume and he asked me why I wanted to come work for Kenny Ross. I told him from what I've heard Kenny Ross is a volume dealer and they have a positive reputation in the area along with I wanted to sell a specific brand of cars which happen to be Nissan. The sales manager showed me a copy of the pay plan as I requested. At the end of the interview, the sales manager asked me to go on their page and complete the background check to make sure everything was okay. I knew that if I did okay in the interview I should have no problem passing the background check which I did.
The sales manager did explain that they have a couple of nice perks offered to the sales consultants such as a demo program and spins/bonus cars offered every month, 401K, health insurance.
