      PM Interview

      Apr 1, 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Keboola

      Interview

Don't waste your time with them. They have absolutely no idea who they're looking for or what they should build. Their interview process is just shopping for free strategic work from candidates. For the home assignment, they asked to write a full product strategy for lakehouse integration, a 3-phase PRD covering positioning, competitive differentiation, partnership strategy, and a go-to-market plan. Essentially, the strategic direction for an entire product line. That's not a homework assignment, that's consulting work. After some silence, the rejection came back with this gem: "The assignment didn't align with what we are looking for. We've evolved the scope of the PM role, and that particular homework is no longer relevant to the position." Read that again. They asked candidates to solve a strategic problem they themselves hadn't figured out yet, collected the ideas, and then told them the question no longer applies. If that doesn't tell you everything about how this company operates, nothing will.
