Interview scheduled through a recruiter. Received confirmation of the scheduled interview. The hiring manager did not attend the interview. I was later informed I had to complete a take home technical assessment before speaking with anyone from the company. As a 20 year veteran in software engineering, this was a red flag and I decided to pursue other opportunities.
