The initial interview was a phone screen with a 3rd party HR rep. It lasted about 30 minutes, then I was invited on-site.
My onsite interview was about four hours with the CEO, his father (Chairman) and other managers. We mainly talked about my background and the business. I left feeling great about the process after the CEO and his father told me they really liked me. I was entertaining other offers at the time and asked for a week to decide.
Kappas then never contacted me. I followed up with an email to the CEO which was responded to by the HR rep. I was informed they were no longer looking for a senior position but rather a supervisor position. I've contacted the CEO for more insight but he has yet to return my calls.
This company is a fraction of what it used to be. They need strong leadership but are not willing to pay for it. They believe implementing a new software and that alone with change the fortunes of the company.
