Submitted application with resume and two assignments, then got invited to an interview after few weeks, which was a more of a conversation style. Just talked about my past experience and what I enjoy.

2 hours of technical interview. Mostly about prior research works. Asked very details of the works as there was a very specific match between the recruiting team. Also had 15 minutes coffee break. After that, 1 hour of interview with higher level staffs.
