I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Kadant in Jul 2025
Interview
Very informative of the company, position expectations and benefits, laid back and straight to the point. I was introduced to some of the employees in the department and shown a demonstration of what some the work would be like, and I enjoyed learning about their processes. Despite a fair offer I had to ultimately decline because the shift hours did not accurately line up with what was advertised, so my one recommendation for future interviews is to be more up front about the schedule.

Question 1
Basic questions about experience, types of metal and machines worked on.
The interview process started with an initial phone screening with the recruiter, where we discussed my background and the role details. Then, I had a technical round that focused on Salesforce concepts, including Apex, Flows, and LWC. In the next round, I was given a live coding challenge where I had to solve a problem using Apex.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Kadant (Lebanon, OH) in Nov 2024
Interview
1st. 30min Teams interview
2nd. ~2hr in-person interview with 3 operations leaders, plant tour.
It seems the person that left, really left a gaping hole in their manufacturing resources.
After the interview, you will be required to take a personality test -which I must say, the scenarios asked are not realistic, lacking information/context and leave too many alterative answers which, of course, are not an option to select. This is a red flag, and it should be a red flag for you too! Looking back, I dodged a bullet.
