I applied online. I interviewed at KabaFusion (Dallas, TX) in Sep 2020
Interview
I signed up for the virtual hiring event on indeed and had an interview time set up at a certain date and time through the indeed platform. I received an email from the recruiter asking for my resume before hand which i submitted. I never heard back from him until less than 24 hours from the time of my interview. He sent out a generic email addressed to all applicants below:
"I wanted to start by apologizing to all of you who had interviews scheduled today that I did not make it to.
If you are receiving this email, I felt that your skillset was not aligned with what we are looking for as a company and therefore will not be conducting interviews with you for roles within KabaFusion. If you received a separate email from me with a link to schedule an interview, and you have not already done so, please go ahead and get something on my calendar."
I am not sure how you would feel if you were an applicant who put so much time and effort into preparing for the interview, arranging for child care, moving your schedule around etc. only to be told in a group email less than 24 hours before the interview that you are no longer considered for the position. I really hope they revisit their hiring process. I feel like they went about the wrong way with their hiring event. I wished they were more professional and tactful.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at KabaFusion (Houston, TX) in Jul 2014
